Pilot Portable Intelligence 2!
Exciting news!
Portable Intelligence 2 is seeking select participants to pilot the newest version of our next generation mobile application software. PI 2 is responsible for enhancing the experience of Student Information System (SIS) users and extending the reach of important information to a broad range of mobile devices such as: Tablet PC's, Laptops, PDA's, PDA phones, and SmartPhones.
Districts participating in the pilot program will have a unique opportunity to try PI 2 solution first hand at no additional cost, and see all the newest features currently available.
PI 2 puts the power of a pc running an SIS onto your mobile device, in your hand, wherever you go.

GISCOFT develops the First Automated Special Education Transportation Algorithm
October, 20, 2009 Atlanta, Georgia - GICSOFT is pleased to announce that it has completed development of the most innovative automated algorithm for special needs students. This module will integrate into GICSOFT’s Pathalyst product which is a pupil transportation system for K-12 school districts.
This technology will enable school districts to realize the maximum level of efficiency, as well as maintaining a high level of service and reducing school districts budgets. “We’ve been working on this component of Pathalyst for an extensive period of time and are very pleased with the performance that the algorithm has shown during internal testing”, said Igor Babushkin, CEO of GICSOFT.
Preliminary test results show that using the Pathalyst SPED module results in a savings between 15 to 30% of the district SPED budget, while making special needs bus routing much easier and safer.
