European Division of Gicsoft recently Acquired
GICSoft is very excited to announce that our European Division has been acquired by SEVA Solutions operating out of Moscow, Russia. Igor Babushkin, president of GICSoft comments that this transaction will allow GICSoft to better serve our state-side clients and concentrate more fully on expanding service to Educators around the country. GICSoft’s North American operations will now be able to focus on further expansion of our Educational line, as well as our Government and Business line of products and services. Our mobile applications such as Portable Intelligence will soon be seeing a major revamp due to this acquisition. The business transaction began on August 1, 2006 and will be in the completion stages by August 28, 2006. |

GISCOFT develops the First Automated Special Education Transportation Algorithm
October, 20, 2009 Atlanta, Georgia - GICSOFT is pleased to announce that it has completed development of the most innovative automated algorithm for special needs students. This module will integrate into GICSOFT’s Pathalyst product which is a pupil transportation system for K-12 school districts.
This technology will enable school districts to realize the maximum level of efficiency, as well as maintaining a high level of service and reducing school districts budgets. “We’ve been working on this component of Pathalyst for an extensive period of time and are very pleased with the performance that the algorithm has shown during internal testing”, said Igor Babushkin, CEO of GICSOFT.
Preliminary test results show that using the Pathalyst SPED module results in a savings between 15 to 30% of the district SPED budget, while making special needs bus routing much easier and safer.
