Construction of Virtual School Begins
GICSoft excitedly begins construction on its newest project called the Virtual School. The Virtual School software solution will allow teachers and school administration to easily create personal profiles, post class assignments, communicate with students and parents, track grading and attendance, as well as organizing interactive contests, sports events with photo galleries & schedules of game play, online classes, forums for class learning, and discussion groups to promote class participation. All of our Virtual School can be integrated into the school websites. There will also be a grading component integrated in the Virtual School, which will allow easier communication between parents, and teachers who will post grades online for easy access for parents and students. |

GISCOFT develops the First Automated Special Education Transportation Algorithm
October, 20, 2009 Atlanta, Georgia - GICSOFT is pleased to announce that it has completed development of the most innovative automated algorithm for special needs students. This module will integrate into GICSOFT’s Pathalyst product which is a pupil transportation system for K-12 school districts.
This technology will enable school districts to realize the maximum level of efficiency, as well as maintaining a high level of service and reducing school districts budgets. “We’ve been working on this component of Pathalyst for an extensive period of time and are very pleased with the performance that the algorithm has shown during internal testing”, said Igor Babushkin, CEO of GICSOFT.
Preliminary test results show that using the Pathalyst SPED module results in a savings between 15 to 30% of the district SPED budget, while making special needs bus routing much easier and safer.
